EP!C BON APPÉTIT 2021
On March 25, 2021, EP!C will host its 10th Annual Bon Appétit event. This signature event has become a premier event on Peoria’s social calendar, with proceeds benefiting the many services EP!C provides to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
EP!C has been an industry leader in providing those essential services for the past 70 years. From starting one of the nation’s first birth to age three programs to pioneering a job placement program for capable people, EP!C remains at the forefront of innovative and progressive opportunities for people in the counties we support. By empowering our participants to live their best life, we enrich their lives, the lives of their family members, and the larger Central Illinois community.
This year’s event is already shaping up to be another sensational, gourmet culinary experience. While the event world looks very different right now, we have already proven success with hosting the area’s first 100% virtual fundraiser during Bon Appetit 2020 last year.
We have taken you around the world over the past ten years, experiencing cuisines from far and wide, while also introducing you to some of the most talented celebrity chefs from across the country. This year as we celebrate all those tasty travels, we bring your palate closer to home as we celebrate Peoria’s local food scene.
During this hybrid event, our guests will be participating with us virtually from the comfort of their homes with meals provided by local restaurants. Instead of hosting a table at an event, you can host a House Party! House Parties are small groups of 10 or less who will gather to watch the program together. Each House Party Host will be provided with an EP!C point person to answer any questions they may have and to help prepare for the event. If a gathering is not ideal for you, you can participate independently much like last year. Guests can choose which meal they would like from a local participating restaurant and have it ready for carryout on March 25th. By limiting our in-person audience to small House Parties we take advantage of being able to allow options for participation on each guest’s comfort level.
Tickets will soon be available to the public to purchase individually.
